The title track of Transatlanticism is especially moving… Although most people wouldn’t want to sit through an 8 minute song.

I dunno, indie music to me suggests a more mellow sound, less hyped up effects, etc, but obviously there are bands that don’t fit that description.

also, francois virot sounds a bit like avey tare at times, in terms of his voice. his songs are all really cute, listen to cascade kisses on his myspace, the first and last songs dont work [Francois Virot on MySpace Music - Free Streaming MP3s, Pictures & Music Downloads](Francois Virot (francoisvirot) on Myspace)

last shadow puppets, locksley, paolo nutini are the ones i havent heard for me, i agree with foremans ones that he liked…plus noah and the whale, ben folds, muse, and arctic monkeys and i guess vampire weekend (theyre like MIA for me, i like them, but theyve been played so much that i cant listen to them anymore really…ill give them a 6 month break). most of the others i wouldnt go as far as to say that i like them, i just dont dislike them
