Hello all! I'm currently a junior at a small public high school. I plan to major in musical theatre or acting in college. I currently have a 3.8 GPA but I haven't taken the SATs yet. I'm in the top 25% of my class. My school does not offer many AP classes. My schedule this year is Honors English 11 (no AP course for this), AP Bio, Honors US History, and Trig/Algebra 3. The reason I don't have many classes is because I only go to high school half day. The other half I take a pre-college program for musical theatre. I recieve 3 credits for these classes. However, in school, I am on the board for Interact (volunteer program), I did drama club for 2 years but can't this year because of the pre-college program. I have been looking at NYU, USC, UCLA, Pace, Marymount Manhattan, Boston U, and Fordham. I know the audition is very important for the arts but are my grades okay too and are there any other good colleges I should look at, preferablly in a large city.
