Musicals for non-MT majors?

Who else does participates in musicals and takes chorus/dance classes but does not plan to major in Musical Theatre? I seem to be a lone wolf at my school...

Sure it is my passion, but I have other plans for a major.

Hi! I’m a musical theater junkie and I plan to continue it in college. I, like you, have other plans for my major (double major in Neuroscience/Cognitive Science and Psychology). Anyways, almost every school produces musicals that have open auditions. Meaning you don’t have to major in it to be apart of it. Also, you can still take Drama 101 or something and Music 51 as beginning music and theater classes. These are full with an array of people trying to fill empty credits or exploring new things, not MT majors.

Finally, you can always double major or minor in MT, theater, performance, or music.

I was in the musical for fun in tenth grade even though I have no talent and basically no interest in music or theater at all.
