Muslims in anticipation of Eid Al Adha.

okay, there! I made the thread guys!

it's in 70 days. Will this thread live that long?

It most definitely will. Even if it's only you and me posting on it...

why do u think I wudn't post?!

I will bump up this thread if it dies............Harry is best at bumping up threads though! He still brings up the "1000" thread post" once in a while! lol.

So who slaughters sheep in the "big eid" lol?

I'm a vegetarian...It's always weird when my family pays for someone to do that.

lol, don't even get me started on vegetarians....why are you a vegetarian?

lol, sheed, one should be open and respectful of other's preferences dude!

we usu do goat or cow....if sheep is the only thing available, then, I guess Sheep will be slaughtered.

I cannot respect other people's preferences. I'm sorry. I'm too closed minded!

My parents always pick the smallest sheep they can find (probably because it's cheaper.) lol. I used to like watching the slaughtering but now I just like to see the guy shout: "Allahu Akbar" and slits its throat.
This must look really bad to animal rights activists/ Islamophobes! LOL but who cares!

True. I don't mind as long as it tastes good.

^ nA......that was funny! lol. Women usually don't come out to see it happening, even children can't stand those, but if I was back in my country, I'd have been slaughtering now too!

well, if you are soo close minded I wouldn't say anything else then.

lol, not only am i closed minded but for some reason i always fee like i have to press my beliefs on others...will you help me? (lol)

so this eid was a bust...It was nothing out of the ordinary. but I spent lots of money.,

Sheed, I won't take the risk! lol. I've no idea abt ur beliefs, I don't deal w/ close minded people! :p (If u weren't close minded, I would've been debating w/ u......but, there's no point in debating w/ a narrow minded person)

Stuck, facebook is blocked again, so i'll just answer here...........yeah, it's been worse than last year! lol hopefully Eid ul Adha will be better (I just got $20! can u believe it! :-c!

facebook sucks now for some reason. It's always broken, lol. And my fun wall is all: "HAPPY EID".....

If we were allowed to dissect frogs for eid al adha, it would have been alot more fun :D

oh yeah, try frog meat, it's the MOST Delicious Crispy SLIMY Meat you can ever taste with some yellow fluidy stuff and purple pit............you gotta love that! have fun!

What is i said i wasn't close minded i only said that to spark debate?

lol and Eid was ugh

pretty weird way to spark a debate.

Eid stories:
share something memorable.

It our family tradition to slaughter our sheep on the roof of my grandmother's building (it's basically a slum, and you can do whatever you want). So after the Eid Prayer, we all went up to watch the slaughtering. But our sheep was a little...unwilling, to say the least. So it was fussing alot, and the butcher was a complete idiot, so he let go! It jumped off the railing, and fell to the groud (from the 4th floor, btw). And since the sheep has to be alive when it's being slaughtered (and this one was galloping towards it's beath bed) my dad didn't want to pay another 600 pounds for another sheep. So he told the butcher to run down and get it over with. And he did - and I missed my favourite part, lol. But it didn't suffer: the cut on its neck was a little to deep and it died instantly, lol;
and now I'm going to stop talking because this is starting to look really bad, and I always try to give a +ve impression about Muslims....:)

omg! was the post THAT bad! lol bad enough to kill the thread?!

lol .
