Must I retake a 690 CR?

Hey. So I currently have a 2260: CR 690 W 770 M 800. I have, however, a 710 on another test but only got a 620 M and 670 W so I don't want to send that one just in case the 620 and 670 might hurt me. So do I have to retake the 690? It'd be my 4th time and I'd really prefer not to.........

I'm applying to Dartmouth btw. Thanks.

Bump.
I have the same question too. I have a 2250 with 690 reading. But I took the November SAT and am hoping to go up like 30 or 40 points.

Of course in my opinion anything under 700 is not worthy of an ivy league schoo

Because a standardized test is the most accurate way to measure a student’s potential to perform well in an ivy league school, right?

Geezer: Most schools (especially Ivies) will look at your record in the best light possible, so I doubt that sending the test with a 710 CR will hurt you when your most recent test has high Math and Writing scores. If you don’t feel like retaking the SAT again to raise your score, then don’t.

I in the same boat as both you and jshapiro. I got a 2250 (690 CR, 770 M, and 790 W). I wish I could have a 1500+ CR/M score but I don’t think its worth it. Especially since there isn’t a guarantee that I will get a 770 M and 790 W on the SAT once again.
