Must the FAFSA be completed online??

Can you complete a hard copy of the FAFSA? Please help

You can complete a hard copy and mail it. The online option is processed faster and easier to make corrections to. If you really want to do a paper one it can be downloaded here

[Federal Student Aid - Free Application for Federal Student Aid - Filing Options](http://www.federalstudentaid.ed.gov/fafsa/fafsa_options.html)

hmm i might do this

is there one for the css profile?

I have to say…while you can file the FAFSA using a paper form, it is ever so much easier to do so online. Since you are using a computer to post your question, clearly you have internet access somehow. If you file the FAFSA online, you can make corrections or changes online. Filing online is much easier than you might think, and the time element is also significant. Online FAFSAs are processed upon submission. Paper ones…well…they have to go in the mail, someone else enters the data, and it all takes time.

I would strongly suggest that you consider doing the financial aid applications online. The sites are secure (as secure as they can be). It’s not any different than filing taxes online.

i see your point but if i were to do them on paper do you have any idea if the css profile can be done on hard copy.

I would expect that the CSS profile can also be done in a hard copy. Check the website thoroughly, or just pick up the telephone and call them and ask for a paper form.
