My $400 Deposit...

Alright, so I sent my $400 deposit from Vancouver Canada like 3 weeks ago...

how do i make sure that Cornell received it?

I emailed them and they said "we need your 7 digit student ID number on your card" ...?

does anyone have that ID number?

Thanks.

You guys should send the check via certified mail.

I sent it in like 3 weeks ago too and haven't gotten any confirmation. I don't think we have an ID number yet so I don't know what they're talking about.

And what do you mean by certified mail? Do those get a confirmation or something? I just used the envolope Cornell provided.

Just check with your bank to see if they deposited your check.

i did not have an ID # when i sent in the deposit
but i used a register mail so that i could track it (delivered or not)
i think ID #s are assigned when they have processed your $400

thanks guys.

I just got frustrated and got my brother to go in person and check.. and he told me it's in.

I sent mine a long time ago, yet I did not get my NetID or anything. However, I did get an e-mail the other day giving me a heads up about the fact that I'm getting my dining and housing forms and such in April along with the regular decision students.
