On this site, I have never fully shared my academic progress.
Here is my academic situation and hopefully, you guys will share your thoughts on it.
My Major is B.A. in Anthropology. My goal is to transfer to UCLA.
(UCLA B.A. Anthropology 2014- Avg. admitted GPA was 3.54 2015- 25th 3.37 / 75th 3.8 )
And, I am going to apply this 2016 Fall.
There are 3 major requirements and I have secured an A in one course.
There are two other courses left and I am taking one course this semester.
And these are the two possible scenarios-
Worst case scenario - if I get B’s in two other courses (I have one A secured and expecting one B).
My major GPA will be 3.40 and my overall GPA will be 3.86.
Best case scenario - I get one B and A’s in two courses.
My major GPA will be 3.67 and my overall GPA will be 3.93
I, uhm, was going to drop the course with B and take it again on summer, but as many suggested- one B wasn’t going to really hurt. Also, I have 4 Ws… many suggested that I shouldn’t drop any more courses.
IGETC- Will finish by next spring before I transfer.
