my ACT score and SAT score...

i got a 32 on my ACT after taking it a few times.. and im pretty happy with it

but when i took the SAT in june, i got 620, 650, 680 in CR, Math, and Writing respectively. so 1950 total.

when i convert my ACT score to SAT score. thats same as 2150.
so there is a big difference between my 2 scores.

my question is.. is that going to affect me alot when i apply for colleges this year?

and should is my 32 good enough for colleges lik Johns Hopkins, Berkeley, and such?

in addition, i have a fairly good GPA with good EC’s

JHU and Berkeley are my dream schools that i dont even really expect to get in.

is my SAT really that bad :(?

32 is good enough
Then you could work on your essays. Because these would separate you from other applicants.

I would try and get a 33+ if you’re applying to those schools

I’m not so sure there is much of a difference between a 32 and 33. Composites >=32 are all in the top 1% of all test takers. I think your time would be better spent strengthening other aspects of your application. Are you required to submit SAT II scores? If so, then they will also see your SAT I scores. You might want to read a prep book and take some practice tests for the SAT I if you are required to send SAT II scores, but I wouldn’t mess with the ACT any more.

i have already taken SATII .. and i got a decent scores except bio(680).. which is the one that i need to do my best on since i am thinking about majoring it.
thats why i am retaking the SATII this fall.
but if i do so, i would not have time to retake the SATI. so i mean since i have to submit my SATII, my SATI goes with it.

would they look at my SATI score harshly and not accept me even though i got a much better score on the ACT?

In theory… they will take your ACT into consideration if it is higher, but no one can really tell for sure

bump… i need more replies.. please help
