I log into the ACT student web account to check my ACT score, I am completely glorified as I scroll down. 36 English.... 35 Math.... 34 Reading.... [[[[31 Science]]]]. Composite: 34. DANNNNGIIIIT. was hoping for a 35!!

May I ask how you studied for the English section?

@ColumbianX: Honestly, it was all thanks to my sophomore english teacher and the grammar book we had. Going through a month of grammar basically let me nail the English section no problem!

Cool! Because I started at an ACT English score of 18. BUT to be honest, I didn’t even know the difference between it’s and its.

I skimmed some online tutorial (for 2 weeks) and now my ACT English average is only a 27.

The weird thing is that each time I learn something, I find exceptions to rules (“I like pizza, not water” -> contrasting using a comma???)

WHAT SHOULD I DO?
