My ACT score...

My top colleges are Yale, UMich, Brown, UCLA, and Stanford.
To what colleges should I apply? (Not just from my top)

31 Composite
33 English
33 Math
30 Reading
29 Science

This is the first time taking the ACT and
I don't know what's a "good enough" score.

Thanks :)

for Umich and (POSSIBLY) UCLA, that ACT score is pretty good.

however, places like Brown, Stanford, and Yale-- i'd aim for at least a 34-35 ACT if i'm planning on applying there

so you're saying a composite score of 31 is not competitive for Ivy League colleges?

You need around a 33 to be competitive. The highest 75% at everything "below" Yale on the rankings is a 33, and you can get away with about a 31 or so at Cornell maybe. But it is safer to be a tad higher. Even then, no score on the ACT is going to guarantee admission to an Ivy League school. You should just send it in if you want to apply and see what happens.
