I applied to the University of Minnesota Twin Cities in the beginning of September and I still have not hear anything from them. The application tracker has been at “your application is complete” for months now and I’m worried. Although I did call the admission’s office and said I wanted to switch from the Science and Engineering college to the Liberal Arts college in the middle of November so is it because of that that it is taking so long to get my decision?
Call them back and ask them.
Look up online when the decisions usually come out. Did you apply ED/EA or RD?
University of Minnesota has rolling admissions. They release their decisions by the end of February. So they do take longer for some applicants than for others. Nothing much to worry about
P.S.I applied there too. All the best to the both of us!
When in doubt call them. The folks who answer the phones in the admissions office are super nice.
I just got accepted today (6.33 hours ago)
My son applied in August, has not heard back yet either. They have until Feb 28th…not concerned about it at all.
Can I ask what his stats were?
I applied at the end of October for CSE. My stats are 31 ACT and a 3.8 GPA UW. I had good academic rigor with great extra-curricular activities. I have also not received an admissions decision yet. I was planning on changing to the CLA but I was pulled into the CSE because I wanted a BS in Computer Science rather than a BA. I really want to get into the University of Minnesota and a lot of my friends have applied after me for CSE and have already gotten in.
My S applied 8/24 for CSE…no decision yet. 35C, but bad class rank. About 3.7 u, 4.1 w, 11 APs…hoping for a decision after first semester grades are sent.
