<p>Meza007, my status still has the same "We are in the process..." message too. And they've had my appeal for close to four weeks now...I hate not knowing.</p>
<p>Looks like we're in the same boat starry, mine just switched to that today too. :x</p>
<p>Hopefully you'll get in though, since I'm pretty much content with the college I'm going to. :D</p>
<p>oh snap ok so 3 people that have the same status of the fact that itll be a "written response"... hm... i'm totally wondering what this means. like seriously even for the people that haven't received the same message we have... i just want us all to get it its soo annoying waiting! collegekid i was kinda thinking the same thing as you... like the people that were rejected found out immediately online... but then i thought that there were people that were accepted via the online site as well... so who knows what ucla is thinking right now... we can only wait and see!</p>
<p>i dunno... but im sure theres not many appeals left...im sure they decided on over 85-90% of them.. it is may 9th now...... i think if you make it through a day without being denied your chances somehow increase..it might be going through that 4 step process...who knows though.. who knows... good luck to everyone</p>

<p>well, my appeal was denied. they stuck to their offer of the ucmerced shared experience. good luck to all those who are still waiting. :)</p>

<p>if your appeal is still under review, go there to see if you can log in, if you can, maybe that means you've been accepted but they havent updated your page yet, i dont know</p>

<p>My basis were botched SAT scores and a leadership position I didn't mention on my application. I also had some personal family issues that I won't go into detail here.</p>

<p>It's not first-come-first-serve, it was a lottery system. However, you missed the deadline for guaranteed housing. I did mine again an hour after the deadline (Stupid thing didn't process the first time) and I still got a suite, so I'm sure you can get a res hall, although of course there aren't any guarantees.</p>
