<p>crap, damb god damb it, argg the first time ever i checked twice in a day my decision and somehow i fealt it was comming today, yeah rejected twice from UCLA and UCB, damb.
The worst part about it is if it took, so long it must of gone through so much chaines and theyt must of agraid intill prbably the final guy said no damb it damb it (i sent my appeal on the 16th just so everyone knows) well good luck to everyone else, your probably at that last stage if your a freshman appeal person.
Crap i dont know where im going to go damb it damb it damb it (kinda makes my ap's worthless know ,wanted sophtmore standing and a possible double major, damb it damb it!</p>

<p>It sucks UCB replied to my appliel in I dont know how fast cause i checked a week after sending and somhow it was there i was like ehh whatever, probably same for UCLA but nope and this went on for over 3 weeks and i was like ohh maybe i have a chance but yeah right, prabably the final guy said NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! and that ended it (assuming there realy is a 4-step process, atleast at UCLA, or is that just a rumor?)</p>

<p>How did you receive the news? I was finally contacted earlier today, and all they wanted was for me to give them my current grades... I had a low GPA going in, so I'm theorizing that's probably why they needed additional information from me to determine if I'm still "in" or if I'm going to get the boot... Please, not the boot... I have a feeling that they'll let me know what their decision will be by the end of tomorrow...</p>

<p>kay, I just went through the process by filling out the update. I dropped a class and was short units, but my gpa stayed level at about 3.7ish. I got an email telling me that they had added a provision for summer work, and that if I didn't do that I might be rescinded. then they updated my online admission thing, so my contract there reflects the email they sent me. </p>

<p>Hmm...I haven't heard anything since sending in my current grades. Here's the ironic thing though: when I went to the transfer decision site today, it had my original Congratulations letter, whereas before, it said that my file was under review because of my changes...Should I be jumping for joy just yet? It's the exact same letter. And I haven't received anything (like an email) from Admissions regarding any work that I might have to complete... It sounds like in your case, it was the reverse; Admissions contacted you before updating the decision website...</p>

<p>a lot of stuff, financial academic, family stuuf extra curricular (A LOT!!!!!), community service, self study ap's (this year though so kinda late), work,a letter of rec, i really should of send in two um i also stated i thought it was kinda unfair that cal residents had an extremee advantage over others, but ehh who cares i blew it (technically speaking just wasted time, and gave me procarastination on other stuff, ap stuff)</p>

<p>This makes no sense at all. University of California schools are funded by the people of California. Therefore, students who live in California deserve the right to have an "advantage," since those students do live in California.</p>

<p>well it sounds promising in one way, the update on my site was just that, they put my original letter back up. I worked with a counselor on my appeal however, so maybe that helped them with contacting me. I'd say if your contract was updated, or if something on the contract section, then its a done deal. my advice would be patience, that way no matter what you don't end up disappointed. but maybe it looks good? :)</p>
