wow congrats! u r one of like 5% i think who will be getting this!

Congrats UCLA20011! But were you notified that your decision was changed? Or did you just obsessively check everyday. x] Sent mine in last week.

i checked 3 times a day :x

Will they say "your appeal is in review" or something?

Damn rejection letter =/

agga, i too appealed. yes once they receive your appeal letter, your admissions page should change to a message saying they received your request for them to review their decision again. eee good luck! :)

starry did you get accepted to ucsd?

yeah i got in

Is it too late to appeal? and what are the things you have to send? and where to? i can't find the page.

^It's too late, the appeal was due today.

Also, how long did your appeal take? When did you know that you got accepted, and how long after you turned in your appeal was it?

the appeal sit is http://www.admissions.ucla.edu/appealsfr.htm
it says by the 16 but u can try. berkeley appeal says by 15. but i heard some people say that u can turn it in a few days after but im not sure. u might wanna check.

When does the decision site change to the message about "Appeal accepted"? I sent my letter out on Friday and the site still hasn't changed.

I mailed my appeal overnight 2 weeks ago this Thursday. I'm not exactly sure when the sight changed, but it's changed for me now.

I'm so anxious to hear back from them...

aronomy your decision page should change either today or tomorrow. i assume that los angeles has received your appeal by now and it just takes them a couple days to update their system.

Thank you for the quick response, I will call them tomorrow afternoon if it hasn't changed, just to make sure they recieved it :).

^Any word?

Yes, I checked the page today and it's updated with the "Recieved your appeal" message. Thanks again :). I'm crossing my fingers now :D

Good luck to you aronomy.

Thank you :), I'm not getting my hopes up, since the rate of reversal has been very very low in the past...around 2% someone wrote. Atleast if I get rejected again I can say that I did try my best and did everything possible to show them I can be successful there ;).

Oh most definitely. I'm a transfer applicant, and I'm preparing my appeal letter before I get the decision, just in case.
