I wonder if they'll tell us about our appeals before May 1...bec that's when housing is due for all of the accepted students. And our appeals are successful, does that mean that we'll be screwed for housing, because we found out/registered so late?

Also, it's been more than 3 weeks for me. I'm hoping that this is not a bad sign, but just a sign of them being busy.

Hey, it was my birthday yesterday. I was actually happy until my parents decided my plan to tranfer out after a year was "insane" the day before my birthday. Now, I'm even doubting it and, ironically, its driving me insane.

some person on justine's blog posted saying that he spoke to the admissions office today and they said they don't plan on posting appeal decisions online, and rather we will receive notification via snail mail within the next week or two. but.. ahh!

I hope that's not true. The UC's are really horrible at mailing stuff, at least to me. I always get my letters and information packets like three weeks late. :(

If you got in, you just blew $100 on another school. If you get rejected, you just wasted ALL THAT TIME in anticipation. I absolutely hate this process.

my friend sent her appeal in on march 6th, and found out last friday that she didn't get in. the weird thing is, i sent mine out on the same day, yet still haven't heard back yet...

What starrynight said about decisions coming thru snail mail isn't true. I just found out from my friend that he received an appeal rejection from UCLA online.

"I just spoke with the admissions office regarding appeals. They informed me that appeal decisions will not be available on the online admissions decisions website. Rather, the appeal decisions will be mailed out via snail mail and will be available in the next week or two. Just thought I would let everyone know the latest information.

is what i based my post off of. but i hope that this chad guy is wrong like you said!

If by chance you are granted your appeal, do you not get on campus housing? The deadline is tomorrow for housing... :( Even if I get my appeal granted..now I don't know if I can attend without housing..
