***, I submitted my apps (as in paid everything) at 11:50pm 11/30, but the date submitted is 12/1?? How in god's name do I prove that I did indeed submit by the correct deadline, so I don't have my apps frozen out or read last in LA and Berkeley?? And yes, my clock has the correct time.

I’m 95% sure you’re fine if you were not denied a submission. One thing I know for sure is that no UC admissions committee has access to, or considers the timestamp of your application submission (source: Berkeley admissions officer).

Given that you successfully submitted it without being denied (e.g. with a message that said “Sorry, the application period has now passed,”), I’m more than fairly sure you’re fine. I’d give UC a quick phone call tomorrow though just to be sure.

same here… and I can’t sleep now… to worried

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I am curious to see if my application has submitted on time. My application ID # ----
When I review my UC application and clicked View Application it says on the bottom Electronic Signature provided on: Nov 30, 2010.
But when I click on View Application Fees and Payment it states
Fall 2011 Application
Application ID:
Date Submitted: 12/01/2010.
I also received an email at 12:00 AM, but I pressed the submit button at least at 11:58, when I notice an unexpected survey which delayed me further.
If it is accepted, will counselors see this as a late admission?
I was OCD about my app and just had to make sure every detail was perfect. Unfortunately, that ethnic survey....threw me off.
Sort of ridiculous if it is considered as late admission, would it affect our tag agreements?
If so screw paying $360 to find out that the UC's cannot consider me for turning something in a half minute late and taking the money. Especially without warning us about the Ethnic portion at the end of the App.
the same thing happened to me and pretty much everyone else last year who submitted it the day before the deadline.
you’ll all be fine.
You’ll be fine, just double check your status today and if for any strange reason you run into any problem please email us. We can help you appeal and we will do our best to make sure your application is processed.
FYI: Oliver_Twist is 100% correct, the time-stamp of your application submission is not considered in the admission process, GO BEARS!
Andrizzle- please keep in mind the 2009 submission date was extended and therefore if you submitted your application at 11:59pm on Nov. 30th 2009 and received confirmation containing a 12/01/09 time-stamp your application was not submitted at the last minute. Just think of all the procrastinating you missed out on :)
I think, as long as it let you submit the application, there is no problem. The filing period closes after the deadline and applications cannot be sent anymore at that point…
