My CC doesn't offer many Pre reqs for UCSD...Help!

<p>So I'm planning to double major in the dual major Math/ Economics and also in Political Science. The Economics major is no problem, it's just a bunch of Math classes, but my Community College only offer one pre requisite for Political Science, which is Principles of American Government. What I'm planning in doing is finish all the Calculus classes needed ( all 5!) and in between get all the GE requirements under my belt so I can make it as smooth as possible. </p>

<p>Will only having one pre req in my second major hurt my chances of getting in?</p>

<p>Have you checked [Welcome</a> to ASSIST](<a href=“Welcome to ASSIST”>http://www.assist.org?) I find it weird that your community college would only have one political science class that is a prereq. Because political science is a pretty popular major.</p>

<p>They don’t accept people into two majors. Just get in as math/econ and apply to the poli sci major after you’re in. Shouldn’t be too hard.</p>
