hahaha. dirty. definitely a good line for next time i go out. :D

Oh I don’t think you need linguistics to use your tongue as a tool, just flexible tongue muscles. :D

Maybe gynecology? That’s practically multiple second bases everyday!

i get a lot of cramps when spelunking

lol wow. i don’t even remember the original post in this thread i’m currently posting.

the guy wanted to list the people that annoyed him (i dunno why he didn’t write down himself) at his CC

I dunno, at first I hated my CCC. After I started doing well and started to get to know people and professors the whole experience grew on me. Now I’m kinda sad that I have to leave my homely CC and go to a big impersonal campus.

Same here. There are really cool professors at my college too, and most people were really nice. In fact I’ve never really met an ******* there, people were super cool no matter what class it was. Never even had one verbal conflict of any kind, a miracle really.

Though I think community colleges might actually be more impersonal, in the way that in big Universities, everyone wants to make tons of friends and connections, but in community college everyone tends to take their classes and just go home.

Might have been just me though, never made any long term friends in community college. Sure is a shame to leave though, never really had anything against the place, it felt like home.

Hahahaha I lol-ed so much reading the first few pages (Simply because I agree on some stuffs the author listed. “Some” being the key word). However, it saddens me to see how students nowadays see “dumber” classmates (or is equipped with the wrong set of study skills).

Question:
If there is a really “dumb” lady that studies all the time and get an F, do you:

a) Come back to this site and say “Those guys are so motherf kin dumb idiot fools study all the time and get F i don’t understand omfgfomgfdomggofmgfomg I study 1 hour and get 4.0 while working as a teacher’s assistant in departments A B C D E and tutor G H J K L Z X C and the president of X Y Z club.”

b) Reflect and think “It’s really heartbreaking to see the lady who, aside from having a family and a full time job, is studying hard but still get really poor grades.”

You decide, and I’m sure it reflects what kind of person you are :D

I did both lol. It is heart breaking, and it bugs the **** out of me. The thing is, it’s not the people who study a lot and get bad grades that are rare, it’s people who don’t study much and get good grades that are rare. Several of us have mentioned how alienating it is to be on the freak side, let me tell you, it’s god damn alienating.

Is it heart breaking to see 80% of your class do extremely poorly on a test that you thought was very easy? Yes, yes it is. Is it irritating as ****? Yes, yes it is.

it is cc after all.

i love college

im definitely choice A. I dont feel bad for anyone that studies for a long time and can’t get a decent grade. That just means that either A) they’re lying B) they don’t know how to study C) they were studying the wrong thing.

loud cars ftw

yeah… i’m also a type A.

kind of.

the thing is, in order to know who that person is, he has to make himself known in the class… this often means that he’s the person asking the irrelevant questions and inconsequential comments that that detract from class —> warrants his ridicule.

once i find out, usually by chance opportunity, that he ‘studied for sooooo long and pulled a C+ / B-’… i mean, yeah, i take a little pity on his (often) 50 something year old ass, but some other, stronger force, perhaps built upon his not constant, but all the more acutely annoying presence makes me long for his demise… call me sadistic… call me callous… that’s just how it is.

i mean… every one of us has that ‘root for the underdog’ mentality… but not when that underdog has rabies and can’t keep his mouth shut.

id feel like an idiot being on campus 12 hrs a day

oh wait i do that on tuesdays :|

I was on campus for 14 hours every Monday and Wednesday last fall. Brutal.

ouch!
(10 char)

what about professors who think theyre funnyy…

or students who think the professors are their best friends

"I was on campus for 14 hours every Monday and Wednesday last fall. Brutal. "

8AM-10PM Tuesdays and Thursdays for me. I feel ya.
