MY chance at Vandy so far?!

<p>Vanderbilt is my dream school, but its junior year and it's getting extremely hard. Can the people that go to Vanderbilt or have previous knowledge of acceptance to a college help me out? </p>

<p>Recommendations: Excellent! From my Chemistry/AP Physics teacher (really likes me, had him for 2 years). Huge recommendations for high school counselors for leadership and also a letter from Jeff Mango (President of Georgia-Alabama Verizon Wireless). </p>

<p>One more big thing, I know the dean of admission to some extent after getting introduced on a college tour by a good counselor of mine.</p>

<p>This is to my start of Junior Year... Do i have a good chance, bad chance, iffy chance, please help. This college is probably going to be my highest tier school.</p>

<p>What can you do about the AP Physics class to make it a better experience? Is dropping that class for next semester an option?</p>

<p>i dont want to drop it, its just i might have to spend a lot more time on it than other classes. do you think its a good chance? or should i drop it. i average a low C right now in the class, but im going to do recovery test and science fair to try and bring up my grade to atleast an 85 by the end of the semester.</p>
