My chance for the Ivies!!

So I am a high school juniour and I want to know my chances for an ivy league college... so this is my case....
2050 on the sat (710 math, 670 cr, 670 writing)
superscore- 2090 (710 writing, 710 math, 670 cr)
760 on SAT world history
5 on a AP world history in 10th grade
800 in SAT II Math...
I am an exchange student to the US right now and I have given both of my SATs on my exchange student year... would this help my application and would universities be sympathetic to my case as I had to give the SAT in my junior year and I gave them in exchange student year....

I have been constantly getting A+ in all major subjects (Math, Chem, English, Physics, etc.)

I will soon finsih community service 100 hours in a cerebral palsy center teaching kids with disabilities...
I will also have 100 hours of community service working in a children's museum in the US and beacon (an after school tutoring program)
I also plan to teach children in India and get some money to sponsor a poor child in my country... how does that sound???

I have chaired MUN...
I have gone to Harvard Model Conference...
I have played for the Senior Cricket Team (that is a sport like baseball... popular in the common wealth nations)... Basically, I have been playing Varsity since 9th grade
Varsity soccer from Ninth Grade

Additionally, I have built a windmill that got chosen for a project in school and now it is being built and the electricity is given to a green neighbourhood in the city...
I have also wired a house...

I plan to do engineering in college...
How does my case stand for an ivy???

Sounds pretty solid! Your Math L2 score pretty much covers for the (relatively) low SAT I math score. The only thing I find an issue is that you haven’t taken Physics (or chemistry) as a SAT subject test, and although not required, you probably need it to fairly compete at the Ivy level. Anyway, congrats and good luck!

planning to take it thanks… such a relief…
i hope i can get into one of the ivies…

Unclear, will you be considered part of the international pool? What’s the quality of your HS? What’s your GPA? Can you pay the full cost of attendance and submit proof?

yes… i can pay full cost of attendance… and my school is an international school in india… it has been rated as one of the best international schools in the world… link is [Top 10 international boarding schools in the world | Asian Correspondent](http://asiancorrespondent.com/42344/top-10-best-international-boarding-schools-in-the-world/) … i have a very high gpa and all A+'s, our gpa is measured out of 4.3 and I have a 4.23; due to Religious Education; I had an A. This year I am in the United States… Columbus, Indiana in a new tech high school… one of those new project based learning schools???
How does my case stand???
btw… I also play the violin and have given exams such as the ABRSM…
What do you think???

It’s possible but, your SATs are subpar for an international Ivy applicant, especially for an engineering major.
I’d suggest some other good engineering schools besides the Ivies or top tier schools. The Ivies are a reach for everyone, including those with perfect SATs.

Yes… definitely… the Ivies are tough for any one… I thought my application is well rounded and I have done a lot of stuff… and how much emphasis do you think they will put on my exchange program… It has been hard for me this year… would that help??? what type of schools would you recommend??? top tier??? and i am planning to retake SAT and I am sure I will get better again, considering that the math curve was 3 wrong= 710 this January… two of them silly mistakes??? what do you think… any chance for ivies or is it unlikely… and if not the ivies… what schools do u recommend???

Many things are good in your app but, the SATs. They’re an anchor pulling you down.
I know next to nothing about engineering schools…maybe RPI, Purdue, GaTech?

Your SAT score is low, but get it up to 2250+ and you’ll have an excellent chance at some of the Ivies. (Though make sure you take a science SAT II.) I think your windmill extracurricular is quite impressive.

Don’t be too fixated on the Ivy League, though. Only a few of the Ivies have strong engineering programs, and there are quite a few schools ranked higher than Ivies.

It might also help your case if you didn’t use quite as many ???s in your essays as you do here.

haha… i just type like that… thnx for the advice!

i know it is hard to give percentages… but what do you think my chance is for a lower ivy like cornell?

The truth is pretty grim given an overall UG acceptance rate for 2015 at Cornell was 18%, engineering is lower and International lowers it further.
I’d guess under 10%, perhaps under 5% with your SATs. Your SAT II M of 800 might catch there eye
