What will be my chances if I raise my SAT score significantly?

I'd say 20%

the only way that you will get in is if you stand out from the crowd. show true love/passion in a hobby or something. I say this because test scores are overated.
It is no longer about how smart you are but it's about what sets you appart from the crowd. Taking the SATs again would help slightly but don't over do it. Colleges want to see depth in the student. They don't want to see a kid who thinks with his perfect scores will get in.

I also say this because one of my friends got into MIT w/ an SAT score of 1310 because he was really passionate about playing in Mariachi and he demonstrated it in his essay. He is a true applicant w/ true pation and not a phony just doing it to get into the school.

BY the way the whole crap about SAT determining intelligence is what I said crap.
My friend did not let his SAT scores bring him down at MIT. W/ determination he did really good at MIT.
