thank you for your reading this list of my grades. I know it's long.

I have some questions that i desperately need some answers.

My major is Global Studies and I only have one course of second foriegn language(French2) to take for UCSB. Should I take French2 in sprin 2011 or this fall?
As for USD I still have one political science course which I will take in the fall.

In total, I got 2Cs, 1D, 4Ws, 1F
and the "D" course that I tried to retake I got a W...
I feel like all my bad grades are due to my laziness, and find it hard to explain it in my essay. And the more I think about this, the more i regret that i did not work hard...
So I probably wouldn't write anything about that and just focused on how i gain interest in my major.

I intern at an accounting firm on Sat. for about half a year.
Was Econ Club VP for a semester.
Member of Spanish Club

So what is my chance to transfer to my dream school UCSB? and how about UCD?
Should I retake the course History of Spain (I dropped with W) even if it is not my prerequisite now?

lots of Ws and repeats, but your GPA is OK.

based on straight GPA alone I’d say you’re OK but I can’t be so certain.

I’m not familiar with your major either.

do well during the fall semester since they’ll be looking at that heavily and this summer matters A LOT too.

I would also try to retake that physics class you got a D in, it will do wonders to your GPA. You might have to apply for special permission or take it elsewhere.

if you retake physics and get a B, and knock out as man prereqs as possible I think you’ll be in at both, but that’s just a guess.
