Thank you all!!

your ecs are medium. your scores are medium. i dont know if international students are looked at easier or harder so that could be the difference.

~~what can I do to improve my chance?

write a good app essay, get good recs, apply early decision.

we can't say anything about your chances until we know your scores. Even if you've taken practice tests, you can't know how you'll do on the real thing. So when we know those yeah. Don't expect to get much financial aid, btw.

All I can say is good luck with the kind of competition you're going to have. The Chinese int'ls are disgustingly qualified and usually have nearly-perfect credentials all around. When you get your real scores in you will have a better idea, but I'm just saying that it's going to be tough no matter what.

Oh, and if you write in all caps on your application your chances go way down.

I guess if you were a domestic applicant, I would say very, very good chance. I don't know the rules about intl though.
