My chance to UT???

I am a senior in TX.

i applied for college of geoscience and undeclared for second choice.

Does anybody know about how hard it is to get into college of geoscience?

1850 on SAT. (M: 730/ CR: 520)
28 on ACT

Weighted GPA : 4.5/6
Ranked 56/352 (it's about 15%)
Ap : calculus - 4 art drawing - 3
Five AP classes in Senior year

150+ Volunteer hours in organizations and churches
Science Club - Treasurer - State competitions
NHS member for 3 years
International Club Historian
National Art Honor Society - Treasurer/Historian

Is there gonna be any chance for me?

The college of geosciences is fairly easy to get into. Other posts have suggested that they have gotten into school at up to top 25%.

I have a little higher SAT scores than you but a worse class rank. You probably have a 25% chance at getting in, 40%ish for summer program.

^ I agree with that guy

How about the possibility to just undergraduate studies? isn't it much easier?

and

is the CAP program for any applicant who got rejected
or is it also another decision type UT makes for limited number of students?

You qualify for CAPs I believe. You have to met the auto-admit standards of the sister-schools, which I believe you do...they are relatively low.
