Miscellaneous/Notes
I moved schools, hence why I took both APs and AS and A-Levels.

So, can I make it into any of those? I figured if I have to talk about any EC, it'd be about SWAT. I did a lot of things for that one, but it seems unfitting to place them here.

Cornell- I'd say you're about 50-50
Florida- you're in
Georgia Tech- I'd say you're in as well
Purdue- I'd give you a 90% chance of admittance
University of Minnesota- you're in.

^^ He doesnt need an SAT score. He has an excellent ACT score, and what are you talking about you dont see how hes the top student. Anyone with a 32 on the deserves to be a top students, although i understand that they probably dont use this to determine your rank.

UF - In
Ga Tech - In
Cornell - high match/low reach (i know its an ivy, but some say its the easiest to get in to. You ACT score def. helps tremendously)

That's what I'm saying- Ranks based on GPA, and a 3.6.. isn't a top GPA. It's good, but it's low for Cornell. I'm sure he will get into the other colleges.

Also, 32 is great, but not amazing, kinda what you have to be for schools in Cornell's range.

Blackrose, GPA is only important in the context of a high school. All schools don't have the rampant grade inflation that's so common. There are many where no one ever gets a 4.0.

If he's val with a 3.6, it's every bit as "high" as a val at another school with a 4.7!

hmom5.. point made. However, I still don't think it would be likely for 3.6 to be the highest GPA at a regular public school.. they wouldn't have such a strict grading policy.. His weighted GPA is good, maybe that's what they're going off of.

Blackroses216 - haha dude 32 is in the 99th percentile..im pretty sure it qualifies as being an amazing score...although not on CC...but to rest of america..its an amazing score..and cornell's range of ACT score is 29-33 so im pretty sure that puts him in the competitive range...although a 3.6 is low it really depends on what high school you go to...im guessing he goes to a pretty competitive school
