what distinguishes you from being just another smart korean kid (a lot in my area, and the admissions officers will slot you with them because you fit the pattern)? you need a story that pulls all this activity together, otherwise it looks too predictable and you're just not going to stand out. here's what you do to start: identify the activities that are not overlapping--- many of them potentially are, and from those identify one or two that you did for the hell of it, because you wanted to, not to get into a prestigious college and make your parents happy. i think you can do it, but you have to show this is your life, and this is what you would have done if harvard didnt exist.

well i'm an immigrant from India. I was pretty poor back at home (yeah...i was like one of those poster children in a mountain village type deal)

So my immigration, naturalization, and assimilation into the American educational and social system makes me unique.

@badhaircut...i usually talk about Tae Kwon Do, Hospital volunteering, or Sound Board work for the stuff i did because i wanted to

Your SAT I scores are pretty good...Your SAT II scores are awesome...so...

UN: pretty good chances (you already exceed their middle 50% SAT score of 2090)
Duke: low reach..decent chances becasue the middle 50% SAT scores are between 2020-2320...
Harvard: reach (idk for who hardvard isnt a reach)..dont know because you have awesome ECs...oh and you have a much much better chance than me lol...

UNC-Chapel Hill- IN
Duke- low reach/high match (you have a great shot due to all of your math and science achievements)
Harvard- Reach (but I think you have a great shot at acceptance. If your essays and your recs are good, I'd say you have an incredible shot at admittance)
