A few questions:

Will not filling my schedule junior year hurt me? Too many study halls, colleges see me as slacking….? Also, Honors English in 11th is the highest English we can take in 11th and is harder than AP English in 12th. AP Chemistry is the hardest class in the school (only 1 out of 50 got an A…there were some Bs, lots of Cs, and several lower). Idk how colleges could know this and it worries me….

Will a lack of APs hurt me? Only 2 and then 3 planned….

Would not taking AP Calculus junior year hurt me?

Would my low Math II score hurt me? Only a 640. I struggle with SAT math for some reason, but do well in math and math-related classes usually. Considering taking the ACT for this reason.

Any feedback would be great. Good or bad, I’ll take it. And thanks all!

I know it’s kinda a long message, but I would really like it if someone replied :)

Eh, community college might be a bit of a stretch.

loljk, where are you applying?

Sounds pretty good overall. Only Swarthmore and Johns Hopkins should be tough. Johns Hopkins especially; they have a very competitive bio medical engineering program. I’d say better math are a must if you want to have a chance there. Chance me back. thread is “oh CC gods…”

@laurren, probably the ones I mentioned before. Maybe a few other schools in the Northeast (small LACs with strong sciences, in case I wanna do a 3/2 engineering)

bump

bump

bump…

I think you should get your math scores on the SAT I and II to 700+ if you want to improve your chances against the other applicants

You should be fine with Delaware I think. The rest I just don’t know about. Have you looked at Common Data Sets?
