My high school stats aren't good.

I'm a junior right now

GPA: 3.370
Class Rank: 151 out of 400
I dont have any EC's
I haven't taken the ACT yet but i estimate that i won't do that well. Despite the ACT, can anyone tell me if this is good enough for University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign? I'm pretty sure my chances with the University of Chicago are very low. Can anyone tell me any other good collleges around the midwest?

Btw im looking for school with a good pre med program.

chicago - no way
illinois...reach...
sorry bud, u've got a low GPA and class rank to top it off...and no ECs???? jeez i thought my ECs were bad

no EC's???? that's not good. join some clubs, even if it's just to put it down on your app. do something over the summer, maybe. whatever it is, do it, or else you're really screwed. =/

Just get into your state school...do well there for about 3 semesters and transfer up to a big name school.

By state school do you mean community college? If i join community college im 100% sure ill have a way better gpa, but will schools still look at my old grades and my act score?

If you're willing to go out of state VCU (Virginia Commonwealth University) has an excellent pre med program. It may be difficult for oyu to get in but you probably have a better chance there than at University of Chicago. By the way, VCU's in Richmond if you didnt know.
