I am wondering what my chances are being admitted to Cornell as a thirty-five-year-old non-traditional student as a history major? My overall GPA is a 3.88 while attending a community college in Oklahoma, the University of Jamestown in Jamestown, North Dakota, and attending the University of Alaska Fairbanks. In addition, I have ton and tons of work experience, served in the US Army Reserves left as an E-5, Phi Theta Kappa while attending the community college in Oklahoma, Dean’s List every semester while at the University of Jamestown, history club, and college groundskeeper, and UAF history, Climate Action club member, and currently hold a 4.0 while being enrolled at UAF.
Nonetheless, I live on-campus at Sustainable Village where sustainability is practiced religiously on a constant basis. Finally, I participated in quiz bowl, varsity football all-district defensive-end junior and senior year, ran track while in high school many moons ago. Placed third at the state geography bee while in the 8th grade. My current and prior instructors attended Bryn Mar, the University of Hawaii, Kansas State University, America University, and the University of Virginia for their doctorates.
Thank you
