<p>I really want to leave my current school, but I am not sure my chances. So I am really confused and helpless right now since there isn’t much time left.</p>
<p>Here is my case:
I’m an Asian immigrant who came to US in my late teens.
HS:
GPA: 3.5
ACT: low 20, took it just one year after I got here.
EC: None, I was busy to study English.
Please keep in mind that I don’t know any English while I first got here.</p>
<p>College:
Honors college inside a big public university
Major: social science (rare area for Asian student)
GPA: 3.25 w/ some honor courses
EC: no, but I have been working since my sophomore year.</p>
<p>I am looking forward to some very selective schools such as NW & UChicago, but I doubt if I can make it.</p>
<p>Any suggestion will be appreciate.</p>
