whats the diff. between BA/MD programs and BS/MD programs?

lol to tell you the truth, not sure oh btw for anyone reading this i left out a few of my EC's cause i couldnt remember them all, but they are mostly band/percussion related as most of you can see is my general trend in EC's

bumping back up

Your grades look good, but your EC's are weak. Combined programs look for medicine/health related EC's that show you are interested in becoming an MD. They do not want to take students who are not sure they want to be a physician just to have them drop out.

any ideas on what i should do, i mean hey i dont have to apply for another 10-11 months. Should give me at least some time to add some medical related ec's on the list.

bump, any ideas?

You could go do research at a hospital, volunteer at a hospital, shadow a doctor, become an EMT, do an internship. Lots of things, get creative so you stand out.

aite thanks

SAT/ACT??

SAT IIs?

there gonna happen this year, math physics chem and bio, but lol not on the same day, dispersed throughout the year

Yeah, definitely do bio/chem stuff. Lots of it.

anyone on Long Island here who can refer me to any good medical related EC's besides volunteering, and research cause i did the volunteering, and im signed up for research as well.

Win awards for your research. Or get published. Hehe that should give you something to think about.

that would be cool

assuming i kick butt on SAT's and SAT II's, and oh iono get siemen's westinghouse semi-finals(which is a lot to assume) how would my chances at Stony Brook be for thier direct program?

bump, anyone?

oh come on, someone must know... anyone?

without SAt scores, its really impossible

Most places requre atleast a 1350

that cant be right, thats too low, you mean the old one right?
