I’m majoring in neurology/biology with a premed empahasis…

4.67..is that UC GPA? that means you pretty much got ALL A's in your classes. nice. i think you have quite a decent shot at UCSD neuroscience. those HP courses are not UC weighted, only pre calc honors is, so be sure to recalculate everything. in addition, uc's only take up to 8 semesters of ap weight. gl!

waitaminute, 4.67 UCGPA?

if that's true, you should get into all UC's with ucla/ucb as matches.

no thats not a UC gpa, i still need to calculate it...

You should be fine.

UCSD is a match/slight reach.

Just a note about the premed emphasis. You don't have to be a biology related major to be premed. Being premed means you're going to fulfill the course requirements to apply to graduate medical school. This can be done even if you're an electrical engineer major, it just means a hell of a lot of work to fulfill the requirements.

You're perfectly fine
lacking a bit on the E/C side but nothing you can do about it

wouldn't worry about it if I were you

i hope you would be in the top 95% of your class with a 4.67 gpa. maybe top 5%??? haha. i think you are in at ucsd. your stats seem way above the average. but what do i know, i am gonna apply to the same school soon. lets just say i hope you get in or else i have no shot.

yeah i meant top 5%

UCSD is a match. UCLA and Berk are slight reaches.

You're in at UCSD. Cal and UCLA are matches.

Well, first of all the 4.67 is pretty meaningless as it is not the UCGPA or an UW GPA so it's hard to say.

But...still we can get a general sense of where you are. I would say 90%+ chance at UCSD. I would say 75% chance at UCLA and 70% chance at Berkeley. 99% at UCI, UCD, UCSB, UCSC, UCR, UCM. This is assuming you are in-state of course (people always forget to say that in chance threads).

Sorry but...whoever said UCSD is match/slightly reach is paranoid or thinks way too highly of UCSD.

my uc gpa is 4.2

agree with vicissitudes, except 99.99% at the lower UCs. Highly likely at SD.

UCM, UCR, UCSC: safety schools.

UCSB, UCD, UCI: safety, slight match.

UCSD: match.

UCLA, UCB: Slight reach.
