According to the Common Data Set, a 3.7 GPA is lower than 75% of their applicants and so is the 1880 SAT score. Look at the quick fact sheet http://barnard.edu/sites/default/files/quickfacts_2014_15.pdf and pages 8 and 9 of the long form: http://barnard.edu/sites/default/files/barnard_cds_2014_2015_13apr2015.pdf

Page 7 of the form says that GPA is “very important”, test scores are “important”

I’m really sorry, but Barnard seems pretty far out of your reach. Your GPA and test scores are lower than the 25th percentile, and you have no real hooks that would make up for that, as your EC’s are pretty standard. I would still apply if you have killer essays or recs, but keep in mind it’s a long shot. I would maybe try Mount Holyoke or even Smith (though, again, you run into the GPA/EC problem, even if SATs are a non-issue) if the women’s college aspect is what you’re interested in. Best of luck in your admissions process!
