While we're at it, I was also concerned about MSU's rep as a party school. I want to have fun, but also have a healthy educational enviroment. Are these allegations true at all?

I have to admit UofM is my first choice but a few nights ago i watched videos about MSU titled "Live on MSU" or something like that (They are the vids they send you when you get accepted i think; already on youtube lol), and they succeeded in driving up MSU to the same consideration i had for UofM!

Thanks!

You’re in for sure!

I’m considering MSU too, sounds like your changes are higher than mine  good luck!

I would be absolutely shocked if you were not accepted. Also. Michigan is a near lock. I’ve heard that too about MSU, but from people I have talked to, it sounds like it isn’t that big of a deal because the school is so huge.

MSU is a pretty easy to get into. I had a friend who had 2 E’s and 2 D’s his senior year and still got in. His gpa was like minimum. You’ll be fine

You are definitely in, with your stats. In terms of its party school reputation, I was rather surprised to see that when I came there were actually a ton of students, similar to me, that really cared about their grades/futures. I don’t know if my friends are a more select group of individuals but I found it easy to make friends with those who cared about working hard at the same level I did. Obviously there are plenty of parties (and a fair share of the stereotypical brainless idiots) but the large majority of students really know how to hit the books when need be. Maybe in years past there were more party-hardy students, but now I think in general the atmosphere has become more intellectual (though not in a competitive way). But as they say, “study hard, party harder” is definitely a phrase that can be used to generalize MSU students.

Yeah, you’re in.

Isaac- Unless there was some major hook or reason for those Es, it’s very difficult to keep admissions with ANY Es your senior year.
