Other
-Summer of 9th grade, attended summer@brown financial mini-course
-Summer of 10th grade, attended UCLA summer session, took Pre Calc
-Summer of 11th (this summer), this is hard to believe, but i have amazing connections, and my uncle is a family known house name…I’m getting an internship on Wall Street for 8 Weeks, paid.

note: many may perceive my EC’s as a scattered laundry list, but in reality they are all either Math or leadership related.

I also forgot to add one more side note,
there aren’t many business realted EC’s on my resume because of the fact that
all 3 business clubs in my school (DECA, FBLA, BPA) all require you to be in the class which I can’t do because of scheduling conflicts.

any input would be greatly appreciated.

Haha. I laughed when I saw you put your NFL degree (I do debate too). The points are more or less meaningless, unless you get 750 and then you can apply to become an academic all american. I absolutely love NFL for the shameless shiny stickers. I’m not saying you should take it off, I’m putting mine on my app too, I just think its funny.

Are you going to apply ED? No one here can give you a realistic chance evaluation, but at best, you’re 13% just like everyone else. good luck!

haha alfred. yea, i guess the points generally are meaningless. im getting closer to maxing out in congress though. i still have my senior year to get to the all-american, unless i apply ED to brown. but thats unlikely, because i need financial aid.

thanks for the input.

you have a better shot of getting in if you can actually narrow down yourself to a focus.

You said you’re interests are math/business…but honestly, I don’t see that anywhere. Well, besides the Wall Street internship, but that’s only one out of the many other activities you do.

That’s the only sort of downfall that I see, which really isn’t that bad. Everything else looks good, you just need to keep your fingers crossed and hope for the best.

What is “key club”? lol. You should have a really good shot. Just work on those essays and recs ;)

key club is a community service club.

and sak09, it’s hard to show my business passion. my school offers 3 business clubs, however you have to be in the classes in order to be in the clubs which I find ridiculous. i can’t be in the classes for the reasons that they are non-honors, which would completely ruin my weighted GPA and rank. not only that, but it conflicts with other classes id like to take. so therefore, i try showing passion in leadership.
