<p>I've applied to Carnegie Mellon for its Early Decision Plan (ED 1)
and I am an international student at South Korea</p>
<p>I ranked my choice
1. School of Computer Sceince
2. Carnegie Institute of Tech. (Electrical and Computer Engineering)</p>
<p>My weighted GPA is 3.93 out of 4.00</p>
<p>For now I don't know exactly how many AP courses I took.. um... just about 10 or so..</p>
<p>and my SAT is
Math 770, Verbal 660, Writing 640 (Essay 9)</p>
<p>SAT IIs are
Math II 800, Physics 800</p>
<p>my AP scores are
Computer Science AB 4
Calculus BC 5
Statistic 4
Physics B 5
Physics C: Mech. 4
Microeconomics 5
Macroeconomics 5</p>
<p>my TOEFL scores is a bit outdated, (they wouldn't send score to the colleges;;)
but they are 280, and the dean of admission officer at the carnegie mellon said it was ok to enclose a copy of my outdated TOEFL score in my application if I didn't have the latest one and that's exactly what i did.</p>
<p>My EC's are not that great
I have been vice president of the class in my 10th grade
and been a class president in 11th grade
I was the Head of the Schools Internet Management Department
I was chief of the School's advertising club
and designed the brochure for the school
I have managed to run the school website for the whole three years in highschool
I have also participated in Model stock exchange program
and I have been regularly doing the community service at nearby insititution for disabled children.</p>
<p>For my senior year, since my school doesn't provide any AP classes to senior students, I am only taking college prep courses.</p>
<p>Anyway, I guess I have decent chances getting into CIT..or may be not
But I want to hear from you about my chances of getting into the SCS and CIT</p>
<p>I really hope I can get into SCS... and my parents are threatening me that they will not pay for my college education if I donot get into the SCS</p>
<p>plz... help me.... show my chances!!</p>
