My chances at Cornell or elsewhere?

Hi guys. I am currently a freshman in Simon Frasers University in Canada (pretty much a no-name University, i know ><) and is considering fall-2008 transfer to Cornell's College of Engineering (going to major in operations research and engineering if I get in). oh yeah, here are my stats:

First Semester courses:
Calculus III - Multivariable Calculus
Applied Linear Algebra (pretty much Linear Algebra for engineers)
Principles of Microeconomics
Intro to Moral and Philosophy (writing-intensive)
First Semester GPA: 4.083 (many Canadian Universities have intermediate grades such as B+, A- and A+, with A+ being 4.33)

Second Semester courses:
General Chemistry
Intro to Programming
Introduction to Statistics and Probability (the calculus stat)
english - introduction to Fiction (writing intensive)
Principles of Macroeconomics
I am expecting to obtain approx 4.0 GPA in second semester...

SATs (now this is the part that I'm not proud of): 640cr/800math/horrible-writing

Rec letters: one really awesome letter from a prof that mentions that I'm the only freshman to ever get A+ in his class and one somewhat average letter.

College ECs:
- paid tutor for Calculus I, highschool physics and highschool pre-calculus.
- working part-time in local paint-store as Customer Service Rep.
- co-founder of a Community environmental awareness group (got together with a few highschool friends and took the highschool's environment club beyond highschool).
- member of very few clubs in University due to the sheer distance of my home from the University.

HS GPA: 3.75 (had rigorous courseload that covered pretty much every non-language academic course offered in highschool + had to study for APs on my own)

APs: Calculus BC - 5, Physics C - 5

Highschool ECs:
mostly community/school service oriented clubs and tutoring, as previously stated a few continued past highschool. But really my HS ECs are pretty...lame.

And yeah, right now I'm mostly applying for Cornell because of their financial engineering (Operations research) major. I'm really interested in that field and as you can see most of my courses are geared towards that field (not counting chemistry which I'm taking as an engineering transfer requirement for Cornell). However, I'm not really sure if there are other schools that have an excellent financial engineering program as well...and really debating on whether I should apply elsewhere as well.

I'm not really sure if I've provided enough information...so any comments/helps/criticisms/concerns/queries/hate-messages would be appreciated (except maybe the last one)
