yup, that’s all…

im guessing my chances are really really low? like 0%?

You have a decent shot, so if I were you I would try to take as many AP/honors classes as you can during your senior year and retake the SAT again and shoot for 2000+. I’d also look into doing more community service.

Ditto flipstorm’s advice… and check to see if the honors courses you took are UC recognized… those extra 6 points (assuming all were year-long courses) could boost your application GPA.

Try to boost your GPA and SAT if you can. The average gpa this year was 4.0. Forgot what the SAT was, but work hard! Good luck

You should really take AP classes. They are virtually required to get in. Okay maybe not required, but I have known of no one that hasn’t taken any and got into UCD. I could be wrong however.

Most definitely add some community service and make your personal statement strong =)

It was also written in our school newspaper the other month or so, that there was a record amount of applicants and stats for the incoming freshman class. What this means for you? That we may accept less which means it will be more cutthroat.

But you seem like a stellar candidate. Keep chuggin’
