My Chances at Duke?

<p>Hi all. I was wondering what you guys think of my chances of getting into Duke is. I'm planning on applying as a Math Major.</p>

<p>High school weighted GPA:
4.07</p>

<p>High School rank:
Top 15% of my prestigious private school.</p>

<p>Where?
I live in Texas, so I'm out of state.
SAT Score?
2020 Total, 1320 CR+M</p>

<p>SAT II Scores?
Math II: 700
Literature: 590</p>

<p>ECs that matter:
National Honor Society
Held a job for 6 months</p>

<p>What do you think guys? DDo i need to raise that SAT score? If so to what? Any info helps!</p>

<p>EDIT: Honesty is the best policy. I'm not afriad of a bad answer, I would just like some honest opinions.</p>

<p>I think you should take the Math II test again considering you want to major in math</p>

<p>I agree with above...math at Duke is anything but a cakewalk...did you take Calc a/b and B/C and if so how did you do on your AP or testing? If you want to go in as a math major i would beef up your scores and shoot for over a 2200 SAT or equivalent score on the ACT. Duke does not look only at scores but they are important to every one of the top schools.</p>
