I am applying to GA Tech for BS in Business Administration. Kindly tell my chances.
Can someone please reply?
@Greymeer what do you think I lack? A great SAT?
And how do you think I can increase my chances?
Well, if you have already applied, you really can’t “increase” your chances anymore.
Trust me when I say this, Georgia Tech does not put a huge emphasis on test scores and GPA. If you go onto facebook, you can see a livestream with the director of undergraduate admissions saying that exact statement.
They do, however, want to see that you took the most rigorous courses possible relative to your major, as well as wanting to see that you stand up to what they value.
Your SAT is a little below average but in range. The admit rate to Tech is around 20%. You can’t improve your chances at this point. If you are deferred then you’ll have a chance to send them an update and an additional short essay which can help.
your SAT score will not be what gets you rejected. Tech has stated for years that they do not view test scores with high regard. Your 1410 will make you look great, don’t worry.
@pleaseacceptmeGT I want to join the BS in Business at Tech. Do you think I am competitive for that?
^ yes. You are competitive.
