<p>hi i was wandering what ut austin is strict on when accepting out of state students...my resume isnt all that great but i just want to hear other peoples opinions and maybe if you have some tips/ideas to help me it would be much appreciated!
-im a girl and a senior in high school
-i havent done a lot of volunteer work or leadership experience
-i played trombone in band since the 8th grade and i am in the pep band
-my gpa is 3.8...i have taken 3 ap courses (english lit, english comp, and apush and i got 4s on both my eng comp and apush exams..i havent taken english lit yet)
-my sat is 1720 but im going to retake it in october
-im from tennessee (so out of state)
-i want to major in architecture and am quite passionate about it i would say (i just have read books and drawn a lot i dont think they care about that but idk)
-im middle eastern/ethiopian i dont know if that matters
-i think my class rank is in the top quarter of my class but im not sure
-i have taken humanities, art I and studio 2d, pre cal (my highest math), and physics hoping to make it seem my taking them to help me progress in architecture</p>
