Do I have a shot at being accepted into W&M? Thanks!

Since no one else has, I’ll take a stab at it. Absolutely you have a shot - a rigorous curriculum, excellent GPA/class rank, it all looks good.

But understand, you’re likely in the most difficult/competitive admissions group there is - OOS females - I haven’t looked at the numbers lately, but traditionally, there’s been a lot of OOS females applying for W&M for a limited number of spots.

So, some things to improve your chances:

By all means, re-take the SAT - perhaps more than once (more.) The SAT is super-scored, and Admissions has said they prefer more than 1 take. There’s likely a point where re-takes become a negative, but 1 or 2 won’t do that. Do try to improve you scores a bit; math is your trailer right now, so focus on that.

Look for some leadership roles within your extra-curriculars.

I’m not sure whether to encourage AP Bio next year - obviously, it’s a plus for your resume, but I don’t want to suggest you over-commit. But give it consideration - if you have a Honors Bio class already, it might not be particularly necessary. Not having some kind of Bio on your resume isn’t a deal-breaker, but it’s good to have.

If financial aid isn’t a concern, then ED will have a lot fewer applications in the pool, so your chances will likely be better. But it’s binding, and finaid is a concern for most, especially OOS.

Kind of obvious, but an excellent and personal essay is always important, and give some thought to doing an optional submission.

Good luck!
