Well, as I'm sure you'll hear, your academics are impressive, especially the 4.0 and the 8 fives on the AP tests. Your SATs are acceptable (okay SAT I and fine SAT IIs.)
You do have two presidential positions and one other officer position, this is strong, but not the biggest stand-out in the Harvard admissions pool. You didn't take any initiative to start a club, or as far as I can see, do anything outside of your school.
Along those lines, apart from NM, you don't have any national recognition, let alone statewide.
Therefore, your chances are only moderate at best. If you have excellent essays and recs, you could slip in, but I have to say I don't think you have the greatest of chances.

I agree with pianoking7. Did you play varsity football or varsity basketball? That really helps because of the high level of commitment. Make sure you also elaborate on your leadership positions.

I played JV football and varsity b-ball. I was pretty bad at both of them.
Is there much that I can do from now until Nov 1 that might improve my chances?

Making it at varsity b-ball seems good to me. Unless you go to a small school were few try out. But anyways very impressive acedemic record. But everything else seems like what an average applicant would have. So I would say its all up to luck and pray.

What would a good non-academic resume look like? Is there a sample one of somebody who got in?
Also, a Harvard admissions rep visits my school in two weeks. Is there anything I can do to make a good impression, or will that not matter?

You seem a bit too test-oriented for Harvard's tastes. Varsity basketball sounds good if you can emphasize that somewhat, so that the adcom doesn't think you are a bug-creature that sits in your room studying for tests constantly.

I think your outside research could carry some weight, especially if it is something you're really interested in. If so, you might one to consider working it into one of your essays.

Geez, an AP during freshmen year, never knew they provided it, especially Biology for a frosh. Three self-studying AP during senior year, how do you do it. Amazing.

With those APs, I would like to supplement my previous statement. You have an excellent chance of being accepted. Still, it's a toss-up, but I would be surprised if you were not admitted.

How many courses can you take a year. If you can take 7 courses then 5 AP classes out of 7 courses is awesome but not stellar for Harvard at least. HOWEVER, it appears as if you have a block scheduling at your school. Can you take four courses MAX meaning also 4 AP courses MAX THE WHOLE YEAR?

For me I can only take 4 per year but I supplemented with online ACTUAL AP courses. So I ended up with 5 jr year and 6 senior year. This is not counting 2 honors classes taken each year. I think online classes really show your devotion to learning.

REMEMBER although you are saying you have all these ap self study things..Harvard will NEVER give it as much weight as ACTUAL classes. Therefore, you are sort reduced to having 4 AP courses your senior year. YES, they will consider what you have done to self study but I doubt it will carry SO MUCH weight as actual classes. The fact that you got a 5 on PAST self studies will however solidify Harvards faith in your self study though

Wow, you guys are crazy. I took AP tests for classes I had taken in school. I guess you'll have an edge in the admissions process (I hate to say I wish you don't because that would be selfish, besides, you probably do.)
