Hi, I'm a junior in high school, and I've been researching a lot of colleges lately. One that has peaked my interest is Holy Cross (Worcester, MA). I know it's a selective school, and I was wondering if anyone could give me my chances of getting in based on my high school stats, if I apply.

GPA (unweighted): 3.5 (Top 20%)

GPA (weighted): 3.8

Haven't taken SATs yet (taking soon; did an online practice test and got an 1850)

Took all honors/AP classes

Worked at Stop and Shop for about a year

Head webmaster for high school website

Peer mediator

Student leadership team

PALS (mentoring younger student)

I also have a unique situation in that I missed half my sophomore year, then half my junior year due to medical reasons... I had three intestinal surgeries and was in and out of the hospital for the past year, but I'm finally better now. I made up all the work I missed sophomore year with a tutor over the summer last year, and I'm doing the same this year. This definitely hurt my grades a bit and made it so I couldn't play sports (I would have played basketball and maybe track otherwise). Do you think colleges will take this into consideration?

So if anyone could give me some insight on whether or not I can get in to Holy Cross, that'd be great! Also, would applying early decision greatly help my chances (because the acceptance rate there is pretty much doubled with ED)?
