<p>I'm an Asian male from a pretty competitive New York public high school filled with many applicants with grades similar to mine who are also interested in medicine.</p>

There are no ranks at my school</p>

Chemistry: 760
ACT: I'm planning on taking the ACT this week</p>

<p>Curriculum: I have taken honors level courses in math and science throughout high school and have taken some AP's as well including:
Chemistry (4)
US History (3)
Language and Composition (4).
This year I'm taking: Biology, Psychology, BC Calculus, Spanish 5, and Macroeconomics</p>

<p>ECs: I've done over 500 hours of volunteer research at Mount Sinai School of Medicine over two summers, working with stem cells.

3 years writing for the school newspaper
3 years fundraising with Habitat for Humanity
2 years JV Boys Tennis
Leadership outside of school: working with my ethnic community group to organize events during an annual picnic, such as raffles and various sports

Essay: Pretty good. I discussed my love for medicine and how I've learned from my sibling's experiences (he is currently attending a med school, working toward getting his D.O.)</p>
