<p>Even though Stanford appears to be your first choice, I think that you are almost certain to be admitted as a regular decision (RD) applicant. Many regard Chicago as one of the best cities in the U.S. Evanston, where Northwestern is located, is an attractive, wealthy suburb of Chicago. CalTech, Stanford and Michigan also should admit you. You certainly are considering the right schools in light of your outstanding background and qualifications.</p>
