Hi. I'm a Korean male non-citizen who used to live in New York City up until my senior year. My family decided to move down to Georgia right before my senior year started... haha.

Anyway, I was wondering how Tisch evaluated their applicants, if they consider the portfolio/recommendations more than the GPA and SAT scores.

I'm also going to be applying to CUNY Baruch for business, Rutgers University - New Brunswick and Boston University and major in political science. I wonder what my chances are for those schools?

Right now, I have a 86 average (3.1?) and a 1350 (700 math 650 on verbal). I took two SAT IIs, 640 in both math Ic and writing (I know, they're not so great). I'm planning on taking the SATs again later this week but I don't know if my scores will improve much if at all.

My extracurriculars aren't so outstanding. I was the secretary of the Korean club, a member of the American Red Cross, cross country and indoor track during sophmore year, Photography club in senior year. I also sing in the school chorus and I've had some solos. I'm also a member of my high school's barbershop quartet.

I guess it's hard to judge without seeing any photographs. If anyone is really interested, you can shoot me an email or contact me on AIM for some pictures. I've been doing photography for about 8 months, and I've gotten pretty good at it (using a Canon Digital Rebel right now and a Nikon N70 film SLR).

Thanks for the help in advance.

edit.

I also want some feedback on other schools I should be applying to for either photography or political sciences around NYC area or Boston. Thanks a lot.
