My chances at Penn

Hi, I'm a junior at a very good private school in New York. I'd just like to know my chances for Penn. I am a legacy there.

Junior year grades:
English: A-
History: A-
AP Bio: A
French: B+
AB Pre-calc: B+

ACT:31 (may take again)
SAT: 2070, 1390 (CR + M) I might take this again also.

Extracarriculars:
Varsity Football
Varsity Baseball
Brown Bag Program (a program at my church to feed homeless people, I do it a lot on vacations)
Altar boy at my church since about 4th grade

How good are you at football and baseball? You need to raise your SAT scores some and you should also post your GPA.

With those test scores no. Unless your a recruited athlete I would say raise your SAT to at least 2150 and ACT to 32-33 and youll have a shot. Legacy is important, but only if your academically qualified. GPA would be useful as well

Thanks for the advice, I definitely plan on taking either the SAT or ACT or both again. My school doesn’t report GPA, so all they see is a transcript with grade. And I won’t be a recruited athlete for football or baseball.
