<p>@mcstar20: When we review applications we are looking at quality of academics over the four years of high school. If you are applying into the Nursing School we also look at math and science grades. GPA is only an average, and as such can sometimes be a bit misleading in terms of how decisions are made. Average GPA for nursing is about an A- (we take a look at both un-weighted and weighted) with 4 years of a math and science each. (Keep in mind I just said “average” and “about” meaning there are students who are below it and above it, and each student is different ) </p>
<p>It sounds like you’ve been pretty well involved, I would be sure to create a resume to detail all of your work. I would also look into doing some volunteer work or shadowing in a healthcare setting, you can always add those experiences to a resume as well. </p>
